Those numbers are according to USA Today, which released its annual database of college football coaches’ salaries on Wednesday. The database lists not only salaries for nearly every one of the 136 FBS coaches (with the exception of a few that work at private schools), but also bonus and buyout information.

Not that Alabama is considering firing DeBoer, but his buyout of more than $60.8 million is second in the SEC behind only Georgia’s Kirby Smart ($105.1 million). Among national coaches, only Smart and Ohio State’s Ryan Day ($70.9 million) have a higher buyout figure than the second-year Crim
