Retired NFL QB Philip Rivers has his St. Michael team ranked No. 1 for the first time in school history

Philip Rivers remembers sitting in the front office of St. Michael Catholic five years ago and talking about the Cardinals’ football future with then-principal Faustin Weber.

Rivers had just retired from a 17-year NFL career and was taking over a team that had won five games in the first four years of the program.
