WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

Four people tied to a South American theft ring targeting homes of Asian American businesses owners have been arrested in West Chester, according to police.

West Chester police say they have been investigating a growing trend of organized burglary rings targeting Asian American homes and small business owners over the last few years. Advertisement

Police say on Aug. 7, a home along Lawrence Drive was burglarized for a third time.

Investigators used surveillance cameras and license plate readers to identify vehicles of interest.

Four people were arrested and they've now been indicted.
