A highly anticipated experience that brings a Topgolf approach to America’s pastime has set its U.S. debut date in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Batbox, a sleek take on a virtual batting cage with a bar, will open its first U.S. location Oct. 15 in Addison’s Village on the Parkway, a retail and dining destination, according to an announcement. The 13,000-square-foot venue will feature 10 baseball simulators in a sports bar-like environment, the latest "eatertainment" concept to make its way to North Texas.

Much like Topgolf, groups of up to 18 players can reserve a bay. Players can compete in a three-, six- or nine-inning baseball game
