O disha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan today to assess the ongoing development works at the revered Maa Samaleswari Temple in Sambalpur.

The ambitious project, spanning 82 acres and backed by an investment of Rs 316 crore, is being executed in two phases. It aims to transform the site into a premier destination for devotees, pilgrims, and tourists.

In the first phase, key developments include the construction of a temple corridor, the enhancement of Gopaljiu Math, and a dedicated lamp house. There are ample parking facilities, riverfront development, and additional amenities tailored for visitors and pilgrims.
