EastEnders star Elijah Holloway has revealed his real-life connection to one of Harry Mitchell’s rivals as he provided a ‘couldn’t believe it’ admission.

The 26-year-old actor made his debut on the BBC soap last summer as Harry, along with his dad Teddy and brother Barney Mitchell.

It soon emerged that Harry was left heartbroken following the disappearance of his girlfriend Shireen Bashar three years earlier.

Seeking to keep his head low, Harry’s world was turned upside down following the arrival of his mum Nicola Mitchell in November.

With the pair having an up and down relationship, Harry was left devastated when he learned that Nicola killed Shireen and buried her in a derelict industrial estate in Dartford.
