Senior politician Chiranjib Biswal was named the party’s vice president by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday in a new organizational shift. In addition to Biswal’s promotion, Lambodar Nial, Alka Mohanty, Irani Ray, Sudhir Das, and Manoj Mishra were designated General Secretaries, while Pushpendra Singh Deo and Ganeswar Behera were named Senior General Secretaries.

Likewise, Raju Gheebela, Santosh Pattnayak, and Rajesh Nigam have been named the party’s secretaries. An official decree signed by BJD President Naveen Patnaik and released from Sankha Bhavan, the party headquarters, validated the appointments. The order is effective right now.
