Gerry McCann told jurors there were three reasons why he and his wife Kate did not do a DNA test requested by a woman claiming to be their missing daughter Madeleine.

Speaking about Julia Wandelt’s claims, he said: “We know she’s not our daughter."

Polish national Wandelt, 24, is accused of stalking the family, causing serious alarm and distress by sending emails and making phone calls 60 times in a single day, and even showing up at their home asking them to take a DNA test.
