Jason Blum is talking Saw .
The CEO of Blumhouse sat down for a wide-ranging interview about his company’s various franchises, and he was asked about getting the rights to the fan-favorite horror franchise recently.
If you didn’t know, Saw 11 was scrapped , and Blumhouse, the studio behind The Purge and the Halloween reboots, purchased the rights to the Saw franchise from Twisted Pictures.
“It’s really hard to make 10 movies in a franchise — I don’t take that away from the original series’ producers,” Jason said to Variety .
