Netflix’s licensing spree continues in November 2025, as we can confirm that Minx, the comedy series that originated on HBO Max before moving to Starz and subsequently being canceled, will find a new home on Netflix in the United States.
Set to arrive on November 4th, the series was created by Ellen Rapoport, with the story focusing on a young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher to make the first erotic magazine for women in sunny Los Angeles during the 1970s.
It was amongst the first crop of HBO Max Original series, but sadly, the streamer opted out of future seasons whilst season 2 was in production. Starz stepped in to save the day and released both seasons 1 and 2, although a third season was eventually ruled out . The series has and continues to stream exclusively
