PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Phillies are set to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLDS Wednesday night.

However, they're leaving their traditional road jerseys back in Philadelphia.

Instead, the team will be rocking their powder blue jerseys - typically worn during home games on Thursdays.

The move is a nod to the 1980 World Series-winning team, and one that will hopefully bring them a little luck.

"We talked about it, I guess probably 10 days ago, some of the players came to me because they like playing in them. So we had to go through a bunch of hoops with Major League Baseball just to get it cleared, just to get it okayed by Major League Baseball that we could wear them on the road," said Phillies Manager Rob Thomson.
