The Cotswolds is known for its pretty villages and towns, and Stow-on-the-Wold is no exception. However, there's one thing that has put me off returning to the market town. Residing merely 40 miles from the Cotswolds means I dedicate considerable time to discovering tucked-away tearooms, picturesque rambling routes, and ancient stately homes.
Whether it's strolling through Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, the Slaughters or popping into pricey farm shops, there's something I adore about these Cotswold villages and market towns.
Yet, following a recent trip to Stow-on-the-Wold, I doubt I'll be returning in the near future.
