FAIRFIELD, Ohio —

Fairfield police arrested two men after they attempted to steal more than $5 thousand worth of items from a pawn shop in Fairfield early Monday.

Officers were dispatched to Cashland on Dixie Highway around 6 a.m. for a report of two men breaking into a storage container behind the building. Advertisement

Anthony Armacost and Donald Collett of Cincinnati were taken into custody after police recovered more than $5,700 worth of items from their vehicle.
