The holiday season is just around the corner, and the 11th annual Hungry Housewives craft show may be just the place to find a special gift.

The show fills up the Glacier Middle School cafeteria with more than 120 booths of vendors and crafters.

The event is free, but the first 40 shoppers receive a goodie bag “filled with the coolest items,” organizer Alisa Garate wrote in a Facebook event page.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the door for $5 to raise money for the Friends of the Carbon Canyon, a grassroots group that supports the Carbon Canyon area near the town of Wilkeson.

Friends of the Carbon Canyon was originally formed to protect the natural area, and usually holds annual clean-up event that removes garbage, graffiti, and even abandoned vehicles around the bridges and forest.
