Approved: Resolution directing fire district study
Council approved a resolution directing the county administration to undertake a comprehensive study of how fire service protection is provided in the unincorporated portions of the county and the feasibility of consolidating those services into one countywide organization.
Specifically, the study is tasked with identifying the number of fire districts, the areas they serve, an inventory of equipment and facilities, and response times, among others.
