WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - Four suspected members of a South American burglary ring have been arrested after targeting specific small business owners.

The organized burglary rings focused on the homes of Asian American small business owners in West Chester and the surrounding communities for years, West Chester police explained Wednesday.

Police explained that the crime ring would visit businesses to identify the owners and get a feel of their daily routine, police said.

Once the group selected a home to target, police said the crime group would put hidden cameras on the property and even disguise themselves as delivery personnel.

It was on Aug. 7 that a resident on Lawrence Drive in West Chester was the target of a burglary for the third time, according to police.
