LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Clark County School District is hosting its annual “Walk and Roll to School Day” event on Wednesday alongside schools across the country.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., students across the school district participated in a parade walk to school to highlight the importance of road safety in an effort to drive the point home.

The national event promotes safety as kids walk, bike, and roll their way to school.

Officials said the community is encouraged to report road safety concerns regarding crosswalks, crossing guards, traffic signs, and safety lights to the appropriate city officials for the area of concern.
