NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol Count District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III said that a New Bedford man was sentenced to to serve six-to-nine years in state prison for drug and gun charges.

42-year-old Brandon Delgado pled guilty to charges of trafficking in cocaine over 36 grams, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of Oxycodone.

Delgado was arrested on April 2024 after an investigation into a cocaine trafficking operation out of his residence on North Street.

Search warrants of his home and vehicle found 337 grams of cocaine, 2.5 tablets of oxycodone, a Titan tiger .38 special revolver, a digital scale, plastic baggies and paperwork.

Delgado had previously served a 57 month sentence for a charge of p ossession with intent to distribute cocaine.
