A person died after being hit by a shuttle bus on Albany Street in Boston Monday morning, officials said.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. near 774 Albany St., police said in a statement.
When they arrived, officers were told that a bus had hit a pedestrian , who became trapped under the vehicle, police said.
The shuttle runs between Boston University’s campuses, according to Colin Riley, a spokesperson for the university.
“The shuttle is owned and operated by our vendor, Academy Express, and the driver is employed by the company,” Riley said in an email. “It is not owned or operated by BU.”
