HOUSTON (KIAH) — It is one of the most icon pageants in the world! The Miss USA pageant! And now it's under new leadership with a goal of making some great changes, that will take the pageant world to a whole new level.

Since it first began in 1952, the Miss USA Pageant has risen as one of the pinnacles of pageantry around the world. Now, as it goes through a new change, I talked with Co-Director Elise Banks-Lovely. What we've learned from her here at Htown morning news is that these changes look like a new beginning and a new chapter, not just for the organization and pageantry, but also for women who want to be part of a transformative experience.
