ALLEN PARK — Several weeks ago, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Detroit Lions had contacted the NFL league office about opponents targeting the legs of star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson.
As it turns out, that report isn’t accurate.
During his media availability on Wednesday morning, Lions coach Dan Campbell shot down the claim when asked about it.
“That’s bogus. That’s a bogus report,” Campbell said emphatically. “I don’t know where that came from. Nobody from here ever did that -- that’s bull.”
