HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Officials say a Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy was involved in a two-vehicle crash in the Cypress area on Wednesday.

The sheriff's office told ABC13 it was responding to the wreck involving a deputy who was reportedly taken to the hospital as a precaution.

SkyEye flew over the Telge and Cypress North Houston intersection, where the deputy's vehicle and a black pickup truck could be seen heavily damaged.

HCSO added that the occupants of the other vehicle were not taken to the hospital, though it's unclear if they sustained any injuries.

An investigation into the crash is currently underway.
