SHERWOOD, Ark. – Some businesses in the Apple Valley Shopping Center in Sherwood are without power days after a waste management truck crashed into a power pole.

The truck hit a power line pole in the alley of the shopping center Sunday night, causing half of the businesses in the complex to lose power.

Officials with North Little Rock Electric said the complex chose to start the process of putting a power line underground.

The electric company said once the lines are inspected by the city, they will be able to restore the electricity.
