Nicholas Shipman, the man at the middle of a shocking triple homicide that rocked the Six Nations community in 2018. died in Millhaven Institution’s Regional Treatment Centre, near Bath, last week.

Shipman, 43, was said to have died on Oct. 2 at the maximum security facility.

“The Correctional Service of Canada takes the death of an inmate very seriously,” said CSC spokesperson Kerry Gatien.

“We’re unable to disclose personal or medical information about Mr. Shipman.

“As in all cases where an individual dies while in custody, CSC has notified the coroner who is responsible for determining cause of death.”
