One half of Scottsdale’s high-flying, high-tech Bonnie and Clyde of insurance fraud received her sentence Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Silver had some compassion – but still laid down a 15-and-a-half year sentence, roughly halfway between what Gehrke’s Atlanta-based attorney asked for and what the U.S. Attorney's Office advised.
Silver’s sentence includes a staggering $614 million in restitution.
Before receiving her mind-boggling punishment, the 39-year-old Scottsdale woman spoke publicly for the first time since federal agents arrested Gehrke and her husband, Jeffrey King, at Sky Harbor International Airport 15 months ago.
