Drivers in Lancaster will face road closures, detours and parking restrictions for the rest of October as UGI replaces natural gas mains.
UGI Utilities said the upgrades will start in Lancaster on Monday, Oct. 13, and are expected to be completed by the end of October. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Drivers, residents, and business owners may experience road closures, detours, and parking restrictions. There will be some interruptions to natural gas service. This will require UGI to have access to properties to inspect and relight equipment,” UGI said in a news release.
UGI said the system upgrades are part of its “commitment to provide safe and reliable service.”
