GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Barks and the wagging tails of man's best friend dressed up may be the highlight of many people's weekend during Roice-Hurst Humane Society's annual Howl-o-ween 5K Fun Run and Dog Walk. Presented by Intermountain Health and organized by the Grand Junction Sports Commission, the event will take place at Las Colonias Park on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to dress themselves and their dogs in costumes and can choose between a 5K run or a one-mile walk.
