Missouri offering Medicare enrollment help

(Jefferson City, MO) — The state of Missouri is offering help to residents as open enrollment begins for Medicare later this month. The Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance is encouraging residents to review their plan and costs, and if they wish change their Part D coverage for Medicare Advantage plans. Medicare eligible residents and their caregivers can get hep thru the Missouri State Health Assistance Program, also known as SHIP. The state can also help those on a limited income determine if they qualify for a low-income subsidy or Medicare Savings Programs to offset prescription drug costs.
