Edmonton’s golfers need to get their last 18 holes in before the Thanksgiving holiday ends because the golf season is almost over.
The City of Edmonton said in a Wednesday news release that the last day of golfing on city courses will be next Monday with all courses closing next Tuesday. Victoria Driving Range will stay open as long as the weather permits.
“We are glad our municipal golf courses are a place to gather during our warm weather months,” said Michael Duerr, municipal golf courses supervisor, in the release.
“Our facilities are community hubs where people can socialize with friends and family. As the season draws to a close, our staff will be hard at work preparing the greens for winter to ensure our courses are safe and fun for Edmontonians next year.”
