Beleaf it or not, fall foliage is already reaching — or even passing — its stunning peak across large stretches of Upstate New York.

Brilliant red and yellow leaves are fading to muted shades of rust and brown in much of the Adirondacks and Catskills . In some higher spots, noticeable numbers of leaves have fallen from their branches.

But worry not, leaf peepers. From Alexandria Bay to New Paltz, there are plenty of places to enjoy autumn’s radiant bouquet this week in Upstate New York.
