PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation has announced the immediate availability of West Virginia Neighborhood Investment Program tax credits for eligible donors.
Individuals or businesses who contribute to approved PACF charitable funds may receive a state tax credit equal to 50 percent of their donation. The credit applies to either Personal Income Tax or Corporate Net Income Tax. The minimum qualifying donation is $500, and contributions must be made while credits remain available.
The foundation has participated in the Neighborhood Investment Program for more than 25 years and has consistently distributed all awarded credits. Due to high demand, credits for this year will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
