MAYFIELD, Ky. (WSIL) -- The Graves County Sheriff's Office has received reports of deer displaying unusual behavior on two occasions. The incidents occurred on September 29 and again on Wednesday, October 8.
On September 29, the sheriff's office said a deer was had some strange behavior was spotted near a business on Kentucky Highway 80, just east of Mayfield. Officials say the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist then took the deer for testing.
On October 8, around noon, the sheriff's office said another deer was reported acting strangely near Central Elementary School on Kentucky Highway 121 North. The deer then entered the school building, but officials said no students were present due to fall break.
