ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – The new Española Humane Animal Clinic is taking shape. Española Humane is in the process of building a new state-of-the-art facility designed to help them tackle pet overpopulation. This past week, board members and leadership staff got to tour the site.
The animal shelter said every day brings them closer to saving more pets. Española Humane said that since opening their original clinic in 2016, they've performed nearly 50,000 free spay and neuter surgeries. They said the new clinic will boost their surgical capacity by 30% and will have a space to train the next generation of veterinary professionals.
