Rain chances will continue across parts of New Mexico into the end of this week. Moisture from tropical systems will bring widespread, heavy rainfall this weekend.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are popping up across New Mexico again this afternoon. These storms have also brought rain into the Rio Grande Valley and the Albuquerque Metro. The showers and storms across the state right now will end overnight. High temperatures this afternoon are sitting about where they were on Tuesday, if not a couple degrees cooler. Areas of patchy fog may develop again in some mountain valleys, while rain showers stick around northwest parts of New Mexico.
