SOMERVILLE, Mass. —
A driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon after a massive tree fell onto several cars on Paulina Street in Somerville, police tell NewsCenter 5.
The tree also took down electrical and communication lines, and several poles were damaged in the fall, the city said.
Video from Sky 5 showed a massive tree that had fallen onto several cars, including a white Subaru, which the victim was in at the time of the fall.
Paulina Street will be closed for some time as Eversource and Somerville Public Works crews work to make repairs to the area.
