BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Kern County Animal Services' annual Howloween event is back and set for Oct. 29.

This trick-or-treat event will feature staff and pets up for adoption dressed in costumes. Candy will be given out to attendees and treats will be given out for the furry friends.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at KCAS which is located at 3951 Fruitvale Ave.
