With fall in full-swing, and Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Ontario SPCA for Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry Animal Centre is gearing up for a busy season of fall flavours and spooky events.

Throughout the month of October there are several ways people can support their local animal shelter, build connections, and have fun along the way.

On Friday, the Ontario SPCA is teaming up with Centre 105 to help keep everyone’s furry family members fed. Between 9 a.m. and noon the Ontario SPCA will be outside of Centre 105 holding a pet food drive.

“We’re just trying to ease tension with feeding animals this holiday season,” said Ontario SPCA communications officer Arianne Kirkey.
