CHASE, Kan. (KSNW) -- With just over two more weeks left, one Kansas high school has canceled its football season.
The USD 401 Chase/Raymond school district has announced that the Chase High School 6-man football team was forced to cancel due to injuries. Chase High School is 0-4 so far this year and was scheduled to play Cunningham at 7 p.m. Friday.
The regular season was scheduled to end after Oct. 25, with the playoffs starting after Halloween. USD 401 Chase/Raymond serves around 145 students in portions of Chase, Reno, and Rice counties.
