NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Tri-staters saw their streak of 80-degree days come to an end on Wednesday as a cold front sent temperatures back to more seasonable levels.
Central Park reached a high of 72 degrees early in the morning, then temperatures cooled into the 60s. The cold front also brought some much-needed rain to the area, with about a quarter-inch falling in Central Park.
Expect conditions to cool down more this evening and tonight.
