NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Finding childcare in New York City has just gotten a little easier.

The United Federation of Teachers announced the launch of the NYC Childcare Navigator, a free platform that helps connect families with thousands of childcare options.

The platform is free to use and offers instant eligibility checks for money-saving programs in addition to the most comprehensive directory of childcare providers in the city. All programs are licensed, inspected, and regulated by government agencies.
