LINCOLN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Lincoln Parish School Board is asking community members to take a survey about the possible rezoning of Ruston schools.
LPSB says six elementary schools in Ruston could be rezoned based on findings from a six-month study performed by Hunt Guillot and Associates.
The proposed rezoning would impact Ruston Elementary, Hillcrest Elementary, Glen View Elementary, and Cypress Springs Elementary. Each school would serve Pre-K through fifth grades.
The Lincoln Parish Early Childhood Center, the parish’s current pre-k center, would be repurposed to house the school board’s central offices.
The school board is seeking the public’s input before final decisions are made.
