PAINTED POST, NY (WENY) -- On Wednesday, October 8th, officials hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new park in Steuben County. The Painted Post Central Park was primarily built for Siemens Energy employees, but it is open to everyone.

"I think it's going to give people, maybe even passing through the village, a chance to park, take a rest on their bike rides, because there's a bike tour that runs through the village," said Village of Painted Post Mayor Ralph Foster.

Dan Meisner, the Head of Site Functions for the Siemens Energy Facility in Painted Post, added, "O ver the last few years, we’ve been doing a lot of projects inside the facility to work on how we look and operate.
