Week 5 made things a little more interesting in the NFC East. The leading Eagles finally lost while Washington and Dallas both won on the road, tightening things up as we move deeper into the season.
We said last week that Philly didn’t feel like a 17-0 team. Well, they didn’t even make it to 5-0. Despite taking a 17-3 lead into the fourth quarter against the Broncos, the Eagles collapsed at home and allowed 18 unanswered points for the loss. With WR A.J. Brown’s reported frustration over the offense now, we’ll see if the defending champs can right the ship or if this is the beginning of bigger issues.
