TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The widow of Omar Quihui, a man who died in an industrial accident at the CalPortland cement plant on Tucson's southside, has spoken out for the first time. In an emotional interview with News 4 Tucson’s Chief Investigative Reporter Chorus Nylander, she shared memories of her husband, describing him as a hardworking family man.
The incident occurred Monday evening at the CalPortland cement plant near Old Vail Road and Swan. Quihui’s widow, Alexia, recounted the day, saying, "I wish I could have hugged him a little longer," she said.
