BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - On days few and far between, Bismarck Burleigh Public Health is able to show the public what they do in terms of emergency preparedness. A vaccine drive-up clinic is one example.

You might have seen vaccination drive-up clinics, but what you may not know is that these are also valuable training grounds for public health professionals.

“Training events like this that actually stimulate real-world events really give our public health professionals the opportunity to train and practice their skills before a crisis occurs,” said Crystalynn Kuntz, emergency preparedness coordinator for Bismarck Burleigh Public Health.
