A march to Sydney Opera House in support of Palestine on Sunday has been ruled illegal.

NSW Police rejected an application for the Palestine Action Group rally expected to amass 40,000 protestors, over concerns the group size was dangerous.

The NSW Court of Appeal has now cemented that decision, confirming that the rally will not have legal protections should it go ahead.
