Multiple street closures have been reported in downtown Chicago as a large protest unfolds against the immigration policies of President Donald Trump.
As of 7 p.m., the protesters were marching northbound on Michigan Avenue, closing the street between Monroe Street and Randloph Street, according to Total Traffic and eyewitness reports.
The protesters are demonstrating against the deployment of the National Guard to Chicago, with members coming in from Texas to potentially provide security for ICE agents and facilities around the area.
