PORT ANGELES — Emma Desjardins notched a hat trick, Pyper Alton assisted on three goals and Becca Manson headed in a corner kick as Port Angeles shut out North Mason 6-0 in an Olympic League girls soccer match at Peninsula College’s Wally Sigmar Field on Tuesday.
The Roughriders produced 29 shots on goal.
Desjardins opened the scoring off an assist from Manson in the ninth minute.
Alton recorded her first assist on a Mariah Traband goal in the 15th minute for a 2-0 lead.
Stella Fradkin recorded her first goal of the season, assisted by Teanna Clark in the 31st minute after a number of close calls this season.
“She’s a luxury for us coming off the bench,” Port Angeles coach Daniel Horton said. “Every game we put her in, she creates opportunities, and it was nice to see her get rewarded
