TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Playing a division up or a division down is all a part of the college football circle of life, but one Valdosta State hasn’t participated in in quite some time.

The Blazers have no faced off against an FCS foe in over 20 years, but that streak ends this weekend as a trip to Charleston on deck this Saturday as the Blazers take on The Citadel.

Per usual, the Bulldogs option attack is one of the best ground games in all of FCS with a pair of quarterbacks that can really run the football. Valdosta State head coach Graham Craig likes what he’s seen week after week from the Black Swarm defense, but knows it’s going to take 60 minutes of disciplined, assignment football to spring the upset.
