RURAL HALL, N.C. — A man from Rural Hall is facing a murder charge after deputies say he stabbed and killed another man during a fight on Wednesday morning.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to 215 Lee Street in Rural Hall on October 8 after reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man from King suffering from multiple stab wounds. Deputies performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but the victim died at the scene.
Investigators said an altercation between the two men led to the stabbing. Deputies identified the suspect as Justin Scott King, 39, of Rural Hall, who was later arrested and charged with felony murder.
King was booked into the Forsyth County Detention Center with no bond allowed. His first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.
